About this Author's Edition
The inspiration that fueled my writing for almost four years was the memory of reading The Lord of the Rings for the first time. I remember losing myself in it, following the characters on their journeys and tracing their progress across the map.
It was that map that made the book a treasure for me. It complemented the story by creating room to imagine what Middle-earth might look like. It gave you just enough detail to tell you where things were, but not enough to force a specific visual on you.
I want Eden’s Rise to inspire its readers in the same way. Rather than describing every detail, I want them to imagine the world of Eden, Anya, and Faras. To see it. To hear it. To smell it.
The illustrations, created by phenomenal artists, are this book's map. They are detailed enough to provide a sense of place, yet vague enough for the reader’s mind to fill the gaps, to create their own world.
