The Berserkers

Just as the troll was going after the last of the legionnaires, it stopped its barrage and raised its head, staring down the street, its ears twitching. A new sound had filled the air.

Heavy steps reverberated around them, shaking the ground and walls.

The troll roared.

A howl of angry voices responded.

Eden peered into the dust. At first, only red eyes moved within it. Then muscled figures broke through, ethersteel catching the lantern light, enormous battle axes swinging high.

The Berserkers.

The riot had come.
