O.E. Bruening

Oskar was born on the wrong side of a divided Germany and spent his early years growing up under communist oppression before his family emigrated in the mid-1980s. Settling in West Germany brought new freedoms, but not quite belonging, it was in the fantastical worlds of Tolkien, Asimov, and Hohlbein where he found his escape.

He eventually made his way to Boston for college and San Francisco for work, where he further fed his creative passions at the San Francisco Studio School.

Eden's Rise is his debut novel and the first book in a planned series. Oskar lives in Cleveland, Ohio.
