Empire City plaza from Eden's Rise — a grand public square in the dwarven capital

Empire Plaza

They entered Empire Plaza, the only place this spread-out city could call its center. It was an enormous open space, round with a massive dome above. Along the edges, sculptures of dwarves stood on tall columns, their beards long, their clothing that of engineers, holding lanterns in their hands. A tribute to the original builders of Empire City. And all across the square itself, a single, intricate mosaic, compiled from thousands of tiny colorful glass shards, covered the ground, forming complex patterns and detailed images. Right below Eden’s feet, it displayed an endless line of imperial soldiers, their faces solemn and focused, the words One Empire repeated on their banners.

“All the victories of the first emperor, the kingdoms that Emperor Casovan united,” Richard explained, eyeing Anya. “Many conquests are portrayed here.”
